The most popular form of delivery is certainly attributed to the many wonderful meals cooked in local kitchens and delivered to homes across SF. At this point, most restaurants accept delivery in some capacity, so your favorite meal likely can be enjoyed in the comfort of your home. However, with the multitude of delivery apps and options, it can sometimes be tricky to track down which app a particular restaurant uses. The most popular apps delivering food from San Francisco establishments are UberEats, Caviar, DoorDash, Postmates, GrubHub, and Seamless.

Today we announced that to better serve the growing demand for grocery delivery & pickup, Instacart plans to bring on an additional 300,000 full-service shoppers over the next three months to act as household heroes for consumers nationwide. . “The last few weeks have been the busiest in Instacart’s history and our teams are working around the clock to reliably and safely serve all members of our community. Instacart shoppers have stepped up as household heroes for families, grandparents, and people in need coast-to-coast. We expect to see continued customer demand and, as a result, we’re opening up 300,000 more full-service shopper roles across North America. As more people look for immediate, flexible earnings opportunities during this time, we hope that Instacart can be an additional source of income for those looking to earn while also delivering for the communities in which they live.” — Apoorva Mehta, Founder & CEO, Instacart . All over-the-counter items are also available for purchase using either the Postmates or Instacart app to order from CVS, Walgreens, or Rite Aid. Luckily, there is an easy way to have your dirty clothes picked up and returned freshly washed and dry-cleaned. Multiple companies such as Rinse, SFWash, Sudzee, Press, and SoapBox Cleaners do all the dirty work for you and return your clothes right to your door. Laundry can’t get much easier than this.

NO-CONTACT DELIVERY ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Safety and well-being of our customers and employees is our number one priority in the wake of COVID-19. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It’s recommended to minimize the number of interactions with other people. If you have to leave a house to go to work or to run errands here are some tips from CDC: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ • Wash your hands often • Avoid close contact • Cover your mouth and nose with a cloth face cover when around others • Cover coughs and sneezes • Clean and disinfect And Yoshi is still around to help you to avoid gas stations! Moreover, we asked our Field Techs to carry disinfectant, wear gloves when appropriate, and practice social distancing in the field. #keepmoving #staysafe you

While many individuals spend much of their time at home, there are also plenty of essential workers who continue to need transportation and services for their vehicles. Thankfully, companies such as Yoshi, Filld, and Booster allow users to have their tank filled without visiting a busy gas station. Furthermore, you can continue to shop for auto parts or any other vehicle through the Autozone or Napa Auto Parts delivery service. Despite the difficulties we face by staying apart, it is still possible to get the services you need in San Francisco while maintaining social distance.
