Napa Valley Film Festival

October 31, 2017

The Napa Valley Film Festival is a celebration of film, food, and wine and is in its 7th year. Ranked by USA Today as one of the Top 10 film festivals in the country, The Napa Valley Film Festival offers advanced screenings of indie films, Q&A’s with stars, and 50 chefs and 150 wineries. Oh, and venues range from The Uptown Theater to wineries!

In an effort to support North Bay fire relief efforts, the NVFF team will donate 10% of the revenue from passes directly to the Napa Valley Community Foundation’s Disaster Relief Fund. Passes range from one-day tickets for $85 to 5-Day passes for $695. Below are 4 things that should be on your radar!

Will Ferrell Tribute

For $25, catch comedian and SNL vet Will Ferrell in a one-on-one with screenwriter and producer Andrew Steele, as he receives the Maverick Tribute on November 10th.

Location: Lincoln Theater in Yountvile.

Advanced Screenings

This year’s festival features indie films that are sure to make Oscar buzz. Stars Margot Robbie (I, Tonya), Jessica Chastain (Molly’s Game), and Bryan Cranston (The Upside), all have films in the festival. Let us know which one you caught!

Documentaries

The festival not only features indie films but documentaries and specials. Learn how a criminal court judge starts a running club in Skid Row Marathon, why fermentation is the latest food trend in Fermented, and much more.

Wine

Sometimes an event’s intermission consists of a bathroom break and/or grabbing a drink. Well, intermissions at this film festival will feature live music and wine from several wineries to keep the energy going! The fun won’t stop!
