Positioned at the corner of Market and 8th Street on the edge of the SoMa and the Civic Center neighborhoods, Whole Foods will service the thousands of current Trinity Place residents, local workers, theater-goers, and many others living and working in the vibrant neighborhood. Bordering the Civic Center BART and MUNI Stations and nearby bus stops, transportation to and from the location will be no issue. Shoppers can enter the store via Market Street directly across from the Orpheum Theatre and easily pick up food or drinks.

Those looking to drive to Trinity Place for their shopping needs will be pleased to hear that Whole Foods will include plentiful underground garaged parking available to shoppers. If you’d prefer to stay on foot, Whole Foods boasts a grand entryway on Market Street that leads you into a beautiful lobby and down an escalator into the store. Once you finish shopping within this 64,737 square foot space, you’ll then be able to exit to a lovely courtyard set with tables and chairs perfect for enjoying your food, drink, and additional retail. Located directly below the 1177 Market Apartments, residents of this brand-new building will have controlled access straight from their homes into the lobby of Whole Foods. The intersection of Market and 8th was once home to the famed Crystal Palace Market from 1923-1959, meaning SF’s newest market will open in the same space almost 100 years later.
