With many historical landmarks, epic viewpoints, and vibrant neighborhoods, San Francisco is overflowing with wonderful photo ops around The City. From the classic Golden Gate Bridge to the historical City Hall, to the gorgeous blooms in Golden Gate Park, we’ve covered locations worth a visit for the picture-perfect shot. Let’s explore one of the most iconic cities in the world!

Did you know one of the tallest sculptures in San Francisco is in SoMa? Located at the center of our Piazza Angelo, is Venus, standing tall at 92 feet! Our art-filled and green space in the Piazza is a respite from the bustling neighborhood with many stunning art elements to discover. From mosaic paths to seven-foot glass bollards, to the many sculpted figures revealed in carved marble blocks, Venus is a hidden gem located in the heart of The City. Luckily for our residents at Trinity Place, they get to spot this polished stainless steel sculpture from right outside their window.

If you’re looking for that uniquely classic cable car photo, Union Square is the place to be. A short 10-minute MUNI ride away from 1177 Market and Trinity Towers, two cable car lines start at Powell by Union Square that runs throughout the day for your convenience. These iconic cars have become symbolic to San Francisco, and are a fantastic way to sightsee the City.

Baker Beach

A photo in San Francisco doesn’t feel complete without one with the infamous Golden Gate Bridge. Located 10 minutes away from our apartments at Marina Cove and 422 9th Avenue, beachgoers get to enjoy views of not only the bridge, but of the Marin Headlands, Lands End, and the Pacific Ocean. Picnicking is allowed on Baker Beach, so we recommend enjoying local goodies while basking in these magnificent views.

City Hall

Known for its beautiful architecture and grand marble staircase, San Francisco City Hall is a destination historic landmark in The City. Moments away from 1177 Market and 33 8th at Trinity Place,  themed color LEDs light up the building at night for varying occasions for that magical photo op. There are many City Hall weddings and for good reason, the People’s Palace is a beautiful backdrop!

Ferry Building

Located on the Embarcadero, the San Francisco Ferry Building is a historic landmark and a deliciously filled marketplace with lots to explore. Being here gets you unmatched views of the Bay Bridge and fantastic dining options on the waterfront. A short drive away from our apartments at 350 Union and 2133 Stocktonget your camera ready for stunning scenery and scrumptious food shots.

Chinatown

You’ll find many lantern displays, street murals, and thriving culture surrounding SF’s infamous Chinatown. Snap a shot on Waverly Place, Grant Ave, or at Lion’s Gate for that quintessential Chinatown photo. A short walk away from our apartments at 350 Union and Crystal Towers, the lantern displays on Grant Avenue feature pictures of iconic people in the community including Bruce Lee and Amy Tan. There’s lots of amazing food to explore too, so expect to spend a couple of hours in this vibrant area.

If you watched the hugely popular sitcom, Full House, you’ll probably recognize these pastel-colored homes from the opening credits of the show. A 10-minute drive from our apartments at 2200 Jackson and Trinity Towers, this iconic spot offers postcard views of SF’s classic Victorian homes with the backdrop of the skyline of San Francisco. When the sun is setting, you’ll get amazing shots with a golden glow over the Painted Ladies!

Museums and Gardens at Golden Gate Park 

Golden Gate Park has something for everyone. From the exciting Conservatory of Flowers to the calming Japanese Tea Garden, there are many sites of attractions for that perfect shot. During the spring months in SF, the park is adorned with stunning flowers including magnolias, plum and cherry blossoms, tulips, and more. Luckily for our residents at 6720 Fulton and 6730 Fulton, the park is right across the street.
