Whole Foods Coming to Trinity PlaceFebruary 20, 2018
The construction at 1177 Market Street is not just for our fourth and final apartment building at Trinity Place… a Whole Foods is coming! Trinity is committed to creating the best resident experience in San Francisco and bringing a premier grocery store to the doorstep of our residents is a part of that vision.
This will be the largest Whole Foods in San Francisco at 55,000 square feet and will bring an exciting array of offerings to our community and neighborhood. Trinity Place residents will have the convenience of taking the elevator down to pick up groceries, lunch, or an ingredient they missed for a recipe. Whole Foods is expected to open in 2021 along with 1177 Market at Trinity Place.
1177 Market will feature a total of 502 apartments across 17 stories with a mix of 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments. It will also have a three-story underground parking garage with 275 spaces.
“It spans an entire side of 8th Street between Market and Mission, in the heart of San Francisco’s burgeoning Mid-Market district. It’s home to tech innovators including Twitter, Square and Uber and located within steps to BART and MUNI Civic Center stations,” shares Shadd Newman.
Trinity Place has been a project almost 40 years in the making. Trinity’s late founder, Angelo Sangiacomo, bought the Del Webb Townhouse Motel on 8th and Market in 1977. The third building, 33 8th at Trinity Place, opened early last year and is now fully leased.Back to In The News
